Infant Program (Itsy Bitsy & Sweet Pea)
We recognize that infants grow at different rates, which is why we separate children under one year into two specialized classrooms:
Itsy Bitsy (For Smaller or Less Mobile Infants)
In this room, our caregivers focus on nurturing individual development, ensuring that each child receives the attention they need to grow strong and confident. Our activities include:
Sweet Pea (For Larger or More Mobile Infants)
For infants who are beginning to move more independently, our Sweet Pea classroom encourages mobility, exploration, and early social interactions. Here, we focus on:
Toddler Program: Wobblers (1-Year-Olds)
At one-year-old, children are eager to explore the world around them. That’s why our Wobblers’ curriculum is designed to introduce structured learning while still allowing plenty of time for play and discovery. We balance these activities with snacks, meals, naps, and outdoor playtime, ensuring that learning happens naturally throughout the day. Each day, Wobblers engage in:
Circle Time
A welcoming way to start the day! We greet each other, sing the ABCs, and say hello to friends.
Arts & Crafts
Hands-on projects that encourage creativity, such as drawing and coloring activities related to the week’s theme.
Manipulatives
Building blocks, puzzles, and play dough activities that strengthen fine motor skills and cognitive development.
Music & Movement
Songs with coordinated dance moves that help with self-expression and physical coordination.
Storytime & Flannel Board
Listening to stories and interacting with characters on a flannel board helps children develop focus, listening skills, and imagination.
Gross Motor Activities
Fun exercises that encourage whole-body movement, such as:
- Bear walking to strengthen core muscles
- Hopping like a frog for balance and coordination
- Galloping like a horse for agility and motor skills
