Engaging Curriculum

At Stepping Stones Children's Academy, in our Explorers classroom, we focus on preparing children for Kindergarten—not just academically, but also socially and emotionally. At the end of the school year, our Pre-K students celebrate their accomplishments with a graduation ceremony, marking their readiness for Kindergarten! Our engaging curriculum includes:

Circle Time

Practicing the Pledge of Allegiance, discussing the weather, and learning about the calendar.

Creative Expressions

Encouraging self-expression through painting, drawing, and crafts.

Manipulatives Center

Refining fine motor skills with puzzles, building blocks, and magnet play.

Math & Science

Developing early math and science skills through tracing, sorting, matching, and identifying numbers and shapes.

Music & Social Skills

Building confidence through show & tell, singing, and discussions about feelings.

Language Arts

Practicing writing letters, recognizing sight words, and developing early reading skills with their own workbooks.

Gross Motor Activities

Strengthening coordination with games like Freeze Dance, Simon Says, and outdoor play.

After-School Program: Soaring Through Elementary

In our Eagles classroom, we provide a safe and engaging environment where children can unwind after a busy school day. Our after-school program helps children balance learning and play, providing a fun and structured environment to support their growth!

Homework Support

A quiet space to complete assignments, with guidance if needed.

Games & Activities

Board games, arcade games, air hockey, and foosball (varies by location).

Special Events

Exciting activities planned for school breaks and special days off.

Field Trips

Visits to fun destinations like Crystal Palace Skating Rink, Santa Fe Bowling Alley, Natural History Museum, and Springs Preserve. (School shirts required for trips.)

Outdoor Play

Time on the playground and GaGa Pit (available at most locations).
