MEET OUR OWNER
Our owner, Sherylnne Overby, has worked in early childhood education field for over three decades. She has been operating 24/7 centers since the early 90's and know how important it is for families with unconventional schedules to have a safe place to bring their children to. Most of her core team members have been with her since she opened her first center in Las Vegas in 1988. Sherry lets her passion for education show through our creative curriculum that allows children to have a truly hands-on experience with centers and computer time. She believes that by pairing this curriculum with time to play outside, you can make children both smarter and happier.
MEET OUR DIRECTORS
Our North LV director, Katrina Tucker, has an unparalleled commitment to your child's education. She has worked in the early childhood education field for over 15 years because she loves to make a difference in your child's day. Katrina understands how important your child's health and safety while being with us and so she ensures the team is on top of this.
Our East LV director, Sherry Gigliotti, has been in the early childhood education field for over 20 years. She has 3 grown children and one fur baby. Sherry understands how important your child's social and emotional growth is while under our care. Sherry knows what a vital part that early education plays in your child's development and for this reason she puts utmost priority on ensuring your child receives the best possible hands-on, fun education.
Our Las Vegas director, Charise Schwindt,has worked in early children education for over 20 years. She has 2 grown children and 1 stepchild. She also has 3 grandchildren. She has a huge heart for children and is always looking for new ways to educate them. Charise understands the importance of treating each child with love and respect and looks for Team Members who have the same understanding.
THE FIRST TEACHER
As your child starts their education, it is important that they develop positive associations with learning. We take this responsibility very seriously here at Stepping Stones Children's Academy. In order to best ensure that your child loves school, we recommend that you frequently ask your child questions about school and frequently offer reinforcement.
